If I had to repeat my life, I would probably back to ages where I lived in Sydney, and times when I was in university. Both times might be my unforgettable moments ever, in my past life. First, lived in Sydney, 3 years been there without using my mother language. It was incredible yet awkward. I lived there because my dad was granted postgraduate master scholarship in University of New South Wales. My mom was granted as well from her office, but she decided not to take it due to having 2 lil kids. (thank God she was  granted again several years later). I was going to kindergarten everyday since I was three until four. Moments I won’t forget are when I go to universal studio and Snowy Mountain, where I can’t even see snow in my country

I have such a lovable teacher there, named Mary. She gave me surprise when I was having birthday. My friends came from so many different races; Chinese, Thailand, Australian, Indonesia, Philippines, etc. I had good times there, really

Then, I had my second best moment when I was in University. At first, I really didn’t enjoy the lessons; civil engineering was too difficult to be studied. I gave up then I tried SPMB again and got Communication major at UI as well. But I decided not to take that chance. I found my friends here are very kind, really care, kinship, but have a big sense of humor as well that suit me a lot. Really, I mean it. We struggled together till our semi thesis. We’ve been helping our friends who are going to be dropped out due to unable undergoing lectures. I felt like, I have a second family here, not like other friendship. Actually I can’t describe our friendship here, but you can’t ask one of my friends how our relation looks likeJ. Without them, none of us will have strong kinship like this. And off course without them, I wouldn’t struggle finishing my study here. Togetherness in a good way is the key. And oh, other majors in engineering faculty have this togetherness as well. I think PPAM worked a lot :p

A Piece of Mind

I had this story once i got home yesterday.

People in my house were all going out and didn't stay at home that night. My mother trusted my commute maid to leave the house key inside the loafer which is placed on the shoe rack in front of the house. OK, i was about to go home and faced the fact that i was going to be all alone that night. When i got home, i didn't find any loafers placed on the shoe rack. I was like, oh no not tonight, i cursed my maid for forgot letting the house key inside one of those shoes. I was gonna call my mom but my battery phone left empty. I was cursing all that evening along and trying to find the way out to enter my house. One thing that dazed me the most was, i was starving, reallyyy starving i could not tell (haha that's too lebay i know :p). I was just coming back from beauty salon, had my nails manicured and i was scraping every single shoe on the shoe rack (and cursing as well) and that definitely ruined my whole nail treatment. Finally i gave up and i saw my sister's flat shoe (the one with loafer look alike) and again i scraped it. And apocalypse! I found the house key!!! Thanks God i finally could enter my house safely :)

One thing i learned the most from this occurrence is, NEVER, EVER, think negatively though the person we accuse the most has many evidences (in your mind) that indicate if they are wrong and guilty, because negative thoughts only trigger hatred from ourselves and absolutely don't solve the problem :)

Beauty Class by The Body Shop Indonesia

I got the chance to attend Beauty Class by The Body Shop Indonesia last Sunday. I was so excited because i used to attend the same beauty class by &*$@vd90n# (one of the international cosmetic brand i can't mention :p) but i felt like i didn't get any beauty knowledge from my previous beauty class. This chance has been given from TBS to those who have TBS member card around Depok region. So the class started at 10 am. The beauty trainer from TBS is the one who won make up competition several weeks ago in Aussie. The class ran for approximately 3 hours. Actually there were sooo many phases that i can't mention here, from applying the serum, foundation, etc but i only write the interesting part of those :D. They taught me how to apply eyeshadow, and now i know how to make those eyeshadow layers well heheh. Then i also learned how to put the eyebrow pencil using The Body Shop eyebrow kit as well, never thought that we have to draw the first 3/4 part of our eyebrow. The most exciting part of the class were learning how to make cheek shading and also putting the liquid eyeliner because all this time I've been using pencil eyeliner which is not too bright in my eyes. After all these parts, i felt so happy knowing my beauty knowledge has increased (a bit) heheheh :p. Thanks The Body Shop, this is the best beauty class I've ever attended :)

Kembang Dhewo Salon & Day Spa

Several days ago i was coming to Kembang Dhewo Salon & Day Spa, the nearest Spa House from my new house :p. When i got there, the servant gave me the product list and i was only interested to body scrub treatment since i was needing for that treatment only hahahha. I went there to Kembang Dhewo with my sister, Azka. We share the same room with the same treatment as well. So this spa house lets you choose your own privacy, whether you want to get treated with your partner or not. I didn't know that there are several scents of this scrub which are milk, coffee, strawberry, and vanilla so i didn't exactly know what scent she put into my body scrub. So there it began, the therapist started massaging and pouring the scrub into my body. After scrubbing, then i went into the sauna room. It was totally indulging! We can set up our own heat temperature, and the length as well. After did sauna, then i took a bath on a jacuzzi. YES, JACUZZI!! Totally luxury, enough said. The price is quite affordable though compared to its quality :)

JABAWOCKINLAND DAY 2

I've been excited to this event ever since months ago. Seems like i surfed the website www.javarockingland.com everyday to see who's going to perform at this event so I'd decide to come or not hehehe.. But when the committee said that Stereophonics is going to perform on Saturday, i felt like WOW, yeayness, woohoo another britpop band who's going to be seen by me :D. I contacted my bestfriend Annie, instead, just to tell her that Stereophonics's going to perform on JRL. She was also very excited and asked me to book the tickets for her too. Several days later i was informed that Dashboard Confessional will perform either at the same day, haha. Koko told me that DC was eager to perform again in Indonesia haha i think they're hooked to be here :P.

Okay, so the tickets were already purchased, for me and Annie. And few days later i felt like another luck plied me :D. I got the free ticket from Java Rockin' Land Quiz woohoo thank God for that. I asked my boyfriend to join me on JRL but he wouldn't, he's rather attending Java Soulnation instead of JRL i guess. Suddenly my friend, Tya canceled her willing to come to JRL due to lack of cash so i sold my ticket to her at student price :). There it went, suddenly Annie canceled her coming to JRL. She was having some kind of blackout syndrome :( oh nooo, my besty, stay fit please. Then i got JRL ticket excessively for one and i called Agun to accompany me that day. Such a rush situation, i know. So after did Magrib, me and Agun headed to Ancol to enjoy the biggest rockin' show on South East Asia :).

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL

I was late when i wanted to see them. Belle of The Boulevard was being played when i just touched down Carnaval beach. They perform at GG Stage, the main stage of all. I only enjoyed several songs such as As Lovers Go, Hands Down, and Vindicated due to my tardiness. But honestly, the show on Ponds Teen Concert was more successful than this.

ARKARNA

Actually i didn't got into the crowd when they performed. I stayed at GG Stage to wait for Stereophonics :p but the show at Langit Musik Stage was audible so it could be heard from my spot since it stage was near the GG Stage hahah. I kinda enjoyed Rehab, Life Is Free, and So Little Time. They were such amusing though :).

STEREOPHONICS
This is the band that I've waited for. We've queued for some like an hour to get the most front row to see this show :D. Stereophonics were damned good! They played 100 Trees, Have A Nice Day, Just Looking, Maybe Tomorrow, and Dakota as well. They're too good to be true! Welsh bands are always interesting, aren't they? But unluckily my fave song that has made me love this band wasn't being played. Well, quite disappointing, but overall their performance was great :). Here are some of their pics ;)

All the show on JRL day 2 has ended, but my friend Tya lost her wallet with its contents :(. Her bag was being razored by thieve. There it goes, we should take lessons from every single thing that we've through to make things better :). I scale this show 7 out of 10.

HAPPY BRETT-DAY!

Suede's front man, Brett Anderson is having his birthday today. Yes, this September 29th. He was born 43 years ago, but still keeps his best gorgeous voice up to now. Now after he declared reunion with Suede, he's convincing his comeback existence with launching Suede's coming album next November, and doing reunion concerts ever since months ago.

How Do You Handle Your afraid-to-be-old Feeling?

I don't know why I'm feeling like, jeez, i cannot accept the fact that I'm old. Actually not that old though, but i gotta face the fact that i have to get married soon, become a mother, gotta live separated from my family, overcoming self problem, while i still feel that I'm not mature yet to face those kinda things. I'm afraid of being lack of necessity, lack of love (?!?), etc. Moreover, i still wanna continue my study in magister before 30. Am i  just too paranoid? Or is it just a common feeling that everybody would usually feel? Well, i know it's just a matter of let's-face-life thingy. Come on, everybody through it, Di!

Buka Puasa Rumah Rya - 2010

Ini adalah acara buka puasa angkatan gw yang ke tujuh. Awalnya pada masih pada pusing anak-anak mau buka puasa dimana dan kapan, karena pasti pusing mikirin gimana makannya, di rumah siapa, dll. Akhirnya gw mikir, apa sekalian aja digabung acara farewell salah satu temen angkatan gw yang mau berangkat S2 dari beasiswa ke eropa? (Well, semua temen-temen kampus seangkatan gw yang S2 di eropa emang beasiswa smua, hebat yah, gak kaya gue -__-) Nah, beberapa temen yang emang mau berangkat kan ada Fajar yang mau ke Jerman, Yustian yang lanjut ke Perancis, dan Kresna yang diem-diem dapet beasiswa ke Swedia. Tapi si Fajar udah berangkat ke Jerman, Kresna juga (lagi-lagi) diem-diem udah berangkat ke Swedia. Yaudahlah gw hubungi Yustian, apa dia mau adain farewell skalian buka bersama angkatan? Rencana itu gw susun berdua Yadi. Nah pas Yustian gw hubungi, dia mau bikin farewell, skalian nalangin makanannya hehe. Yaudah skalian aja dibarengin sama bukpus angkatan, kata gw.. Dan di milis Sipil UI 2004 pun Rya udah menawarkan rumahnya untuk buka puasa. Perdebatan tanggalnya heboh di milis sampe akhirnya ide dari Bendro untuk buka puasa tanggal 16 agustus disetujui karena besoknya tanggal merah.

Buka puasa diramein anak-anak sipil seperti biasa. Gala yang jadi moderatornya. Kangen banget gilaaa sama becandaannya anak-anak sipil. Dari awal udah ngecengin Yudo, ditambah lagi gosip antara Purwadi dan Destia. Kita berencana bikin plakat angkatan bergilir buat yang nikah. Huaaa seruuuu sekaliiiii... Dan banyak banget cerita anak-anak yang dishare disana yang bikin kita makin akrab.. Trimakasih teman-temanku, aku sangat senang sekali 7 tahun terakhir ini berteman dengan kalian semuaaa ^^.

NOKIA N8 Comes With Music vs X5

Hey guys, it's been a long time since last time i posted about Nokia handset :) and btw I'll always posting about nokia music series eversince :P. I've been  searching about this two nokia handsets this last few months ago due to their uniquely shapes and functions ;)

Nokia X5

Interface
Nokia N8 appears with touch screen mode (113.5 x 59 x 12.9 mm) while Nokia X5 appears with qwerty slide mode (74,3 x 66,44 x 16,85 mm ).


Mass Storage
Nokia N8 has 16GB internal memory while Nokia X5 has up to 32GB external memory, but 2GB external memory included when you buy this phone.


Music Player
Both has great music player but Nokia X5 has integrated clear speaker included (sure thing, this X series has better music quality).


Keypad
The Nokia X5 has its sliding mode to open its qwerty keypad while Nokia N8 with its capacitive touch screen mode.

Nokia Messaging
Both have the Nokia Messaging application. But we gotta try its capability in our country first.


Power Management

This is great. Nokia N8 is now integrated with 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Nokia X5 is still with 5 megapixel camera, i guess not with Carl Zeiss optics.



Specialties
Watch this! The new Nokia N8 is now featured with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound when played with HDMI & a home theatre. What a great smart phone :D and you might don't wanna miss this one, Conversational SMS feature that built on symbian^3 OMG I'm looking forward onto this Nokia N8 :-3

FAV SONGS OF MUSE

There are lot of things i looove about MUSE. Errr actually this time i just wanna share muse's masterpieces that i love the most :) yea stop talking trashy thing then let's just get started.

1. In Your World - This song turned me into a muser. First time i heard this song was when i currently listened to Prambors Radio in 2002. It is taken from In Your World-Dead Star single.
2. Citizen Erased - It has 7 mins and 19 secs duration of song which remains my birthday date, july 19th :p. It is from my fav album, Origin of Symmetry as well, the one with the 7 string guitar.
3. Futurism - I accidentally told Matt Bellamy at Muse's press conference that held in 2007 that i'm into that song much. Well, i crushed on Futurism at that time anyways LOL. It is taken from In Your World-Dead Star single as well.
4. Hyper Music - It is from Origin of Symmetry album also. I love screaming part of that song, it reveals my emotions when i'm stressed XD
5. Micro Cuts - Uhm, can't say no more bout this song. Falseto technic along this song, reveals my emotions as well. Heck yeah!!
6. Plug in Baby - Haha, yea another Origin of Symmetry single again. Guitar riff from this song is really fuckin great. The end part of this song kinda makes you high.
7. MK Ultra - This is the one from The Resistance album. Once it shuffles on my music player, i will never press next thou :P.

BLACK STAR

Black Star formed back in 1999 as a 4 piece rock band, after several face lifts, and line up changes they returned with a bang in 2006 as a 5 piece experimental-pop band. The songs have graceful melodies and unique sounds. Their songs will simply stick in your head. They have been described by some as “a cross between Radiohead and Travis”.

After learning their craft for years as a cover band on the local circuit, in Jakarta Black Star have recorded a 3 track Demo, which combines Black Star’s dark lyrics with stadium-ready melodies to blend out a record full of beautiful strange sound. The Demo was created in modest time, and contains fan favourite and standout track “Insomnia". The band is currently gigging relentlessly showcasing their songs at any given opportunity.

Black Star, are all local lads from Lebak Bulus in Jakarta, and have been playing in bands from early ages, Emir (Lead singer, 23), Aloel (Guitar, 28), Yudi (Guitar, 26), Q-nos (Bass, 29), Roby (Drum, 28), and Ine (Keyboard, 25) are highly skilled, and respected musicians within the area.

Once the band had formed, they set about writing and gigging with great success. Within a few months they had over 15 songs with which the band are both proud of, and believe in. They take their fan base with them to every gig, and are always on form, both on stage and off. And have gained a good reputation from every cafè, club, school party and street corner they have performed at. In March 2009, the band has released their debut album, under an indie label, Fiasco Records.

What makes their album so different than other local bands? Their album is filled with dark nuance music with Emir’s unique tone and singing style. Moreover, they have a theme, a message to convey to their listeners. The album draws our attention to all kinds of diseases, like biological, social or psychological diseases. The first hit single from the album, “Abnormal Aku” – which also features the voice of Cholil Mahmud from Efek Rumah Kaca, had managed to receive significant airplay on several radios all around the nation. Many critics considered it as a refreshing breath of fresh air, in a time when all bands are starting to sound quite similar to each other.

In March 2010, they released a single called “Penuh Diksi”, dedicated to children all over Indonesia. For every purchase of the song, a donation shall be made to the account of ‘KOIN untuk Anak’, to be distributed for children in needs. The band continues to spread awareness of the social condition around us with their music. And, currently they are working on their second album, due to be released in November 2010. FIREHOUSE CONCERT

Hmm.. Band jadul yang satu ini emang banyak banget hits-hits mellownya yang ciamik. Entah kenapa Fauzand pengen nemenin gw nonton, mungkin karna lagi pedekate sama sohib gw hahahah.. Mmmm pas konsernya jalan, mereka langsung bawain All She Wrote terus disambung When I Look Into Your Eyes. WOW!! GItarisnya walopun make additional, jago bangettt... Vokalisnya juga, nyaring banget suaranya walopun udah tua.. Hampir semua hitsnya dibawain dari I Live My L:ife For You, I Am Here For You, Love of A life Time. Di tengah pertunjukkan ada solo drumnya juga. Sayang banget yang nonton cuma dikit, yaaa mungkin sekitar ga nyampe 2000 penonton. Jadinya pas encore gak begitu seru. Mereka Bawain Don't Treat Me Bad di akhir penampilannya. Hmm emang sayang banget promosinya kurang, padahal Firehouse main bagus banget walopun cuma 12 lagu.. I scale this concert 6.5 out of 10

mengalah… bukan berarti kalah. itu hanya penundaan sebuah kemenangan pada akhir penantian. yang diperlukan dari mengalah hanyalah kesabaran yang cukup tinggi dalam menanti dan hanya manusia yang berjiwa ksatria yang bisa melakukan hal itu. apapun yang kita alami dalam hidup ini sudah ditentukan oleh yang Diatas, manusia memang harusnya sabar dalam menjalaninya…

yang paling sulit dilakukan manusia dalam menjalankan cobaan adalah sabar. gw sendiri juga ngalamin kok. sabar emang susah bgt,tp lebih baik kita alihkan perasaan yang ‘gak sabaran’ itu ke hal yang lain. yaaa…walopun susah tapi emang harus gitu.dalam hidup cobaan paling berat yang dikasi Tuhan memang untuk bersabar. tapi mudah2an dengan sabar,kita memperoleh jwban dari permasalahan yang kita hadapi, membuka mata orang yang bikin kita dapet masalah itu, dan menunggu jawaban dari Tuhan yaitu ‘apa sih maksud Tuhan ngasi cobaan ini semua?’ suatu saat pasti Dia ngasi jawaban kok,kita tunggu aja…

tapi dalam menjalani semua cobaan, lebih baik kita terus berdoa sama yang Diatas. selain hati lebih tenang, itu juga merupakan bukti ketakwaan dan kecintaan kita sama Dia. dan gw yakin, Dia juga pasti akan lebih sayang sama kita dan ngasi jawaban dari apa yang sebenarnya menimpa kita. usaha lainnya yang bisa dilakuin adalah menyibukkan diri sendiri dengan kegiatan yang numplek.contohnya gw,hehe (apaan si ga penting bgt).emang awalnya males bgt, kegiatan yg banyak itu nyita waktu.tp pada akhirnya kita akan merasa puas krn mendapatkan hasil dari kegitan2 kita itu.walopun sedikit keinget ma masalah kita itu,hehe tp lebih baiklah..

the bottomline dari semua ini adalah kita harus cukup sabar dengan semua masalah yg menimpa kita.percaya, kita pasti dikasi jwbn sama Tuhan tercinta kita pada akhirnya. emang sulit, tp kita harus terus percaya klo ini adalah suatu cara untuk menang dengan cara yang halal, dan untuk membukakan mata semua yg terlibat masalah kita ini..jangan lupa berdoa dan berusaha ya…..

Tujuan Diciptakannya Manusia

apakah agama itu? untuk apakah adanya agama? ada yang bilang, agama diciptakan untuk membawa kebaikan dimuka bumi ini. yah, itu salah satunya. pertanyaan lainnya, apa kamu percaya adanya Tuhan?? pasti diantara kalian juga semua menjawab: Ya.

jika hampir seluruh manusia percaya adanya Tuhan, mengapa manusia masih melakukan hal-hal yang dilarang oleh agama. untuk bahasan ini, saya mengambil contoh yang saya pahami, yaitu agama yang saya anut, yaitu Islam. dalam islam, dikenal istilah Hablumminallah (hubungan dengan Tuhan) dan Hablumminannas (hubungan dengan manusia). hubungan dengan Tuhan dapat diciptakan dengan menjalankan kewajiban umat beragama pada umumnya. salah satu contoh dari kewajiban tersebut dalam agam islam adalah sholat 5 waktu. jika umat islam tidak melaksanakan kewajiban tersebut, maka pondasi agama dari umat tersebut tidak kuat. sama halnya seperti kereta yang keluar dari jalurnya, pastinya tidak akan berjalan sempurna jalannya. hubungan dengan Tuhan hanya diketahui oleh orang tersebut dan Tuhannya. hubungan ini bukan untuk memperoleh simpati, namun untuk mempererat hubungan antara manusia dan sang penciptanya. bila hubungan ini sudah dekat, maka tidak menutup kmungkinan bahwa segala sesuatu yang kita inginkan akan dikabulkanNya. perasaaan yang akan dirasakan manusia jika dekat dengan Tuhannya adalah perasaan tenang, nyaman, damai, dan ikhlas dalam hal apapun. itulah mengapa manusia yang sadar akan Tuhan selalu berlomba-lomba menjadi kekasih Tuhan.

nah, ini ni yang gak kalah penting, yaitu hablumminannas alias hubungan manusia dengan manusia. gini ni bedanya, misalnya manusia memiliki kesalahan yang fatal misalnya tidak melaksanakan kewajiban beragama, mabuk2an dsb. jika kita ingin kesalahan tersebut dimaafkan oleh sang Chalik, maka kita dapat bertaubat dan memohon ampun padaNya. nah, klo kita gak jaga hubungan antar manusia, misalkan kita melakukan pencurian atau pelecehan, itu akan menyebabkan orang yang kita sakiti menderita, dan bahkan jika org tersebut tidak memaafkan kita,maka dosa kita tersebut akan terus ada sampai hari kiamat tiba. jadi lebih baik, klo bikin salah jangan yang ngerugiin org lain deh. akibatnya kita juga yang kena lebih pedih. untuk itu, kita harus tetep jaga hubungan baik dengan Tuhan dan juga dengan sesama. untuk apa? ya tentu buat dapetin surganya Tuhan dong! dosa dihitung loh meski sebutir pasir.

intinya si, siapa yang menanam, dia yang menuai. jadi tenang aja klo ada org yg buat salah ma kita, pasti Tuhan akan bales kok cepat atau lambat. gpp liat org2 songong nyakitin kita, ga takut Tuhan, toh Tuhan adalah Zat yang paling Adil di alam semesta ini. jadi, bukannya maw sok nasehatin, gw juga bukan manusia yg penuh akan pahala, cuma klo maw aman hidup di dunia akhirat, intinya cuma menanamkan nilai kebenaran dan kebaikan aja..

satu lagi ni. Tuhan gak suka liat makhluknya bermalas2an. kita diciptain di bumi ini ada tujuannya. manusia dilahirkan untuk berkreasi, berprestasi, dan selalu bersyukur atas nikmatNya. jadi, manusia yang berprestasi dalam hidupnya merupakan ibadah juga. sayang klo hidup disia2in. Tuhan jauh lebih sayang kalian dibanding dengan org tua atau siapapun juga, karena Dialah yang meniupkan rasa sayang itu kepada org tua,kakak, adik kepada kita. bayangkan sudah berapa banyak ciptaan Tuhan, dan Dia belum berhenti2 meniupkan rasa sayang itu. klo Tuhan gak sayang kita, Dia bisa aja dengan gampang nyabut nyawa kita tanpa kita tinggalkan amal baik di dunia ini.

1. Diana is off course my nick name, and 719 is my birthday symbol which is July 19 :D
2. I'm a big fan of MUSE, and 7.19 is the longest duration of one of Muse's songs, Citizen Erased.
3. Citizen Erased is not a common song, the one and only played with 7 string guitar, which is not used in any other muse song.
4. Citizen Erased is taken from my VERY FAV album of Muse, Origin of Symmetry XD
5. In addition, 7 is my fav number, which every body considers as lucky number :p

I WAS ALMOST BEING A COMMUNICATION COLLEGE STUDENT

Since i was in high school, i've always wanted to continue studying in Communication major. It was based on my dream before i was 13 to be a radio announcer since i've been listening to several radios (especially Prambors) at that time. Then i hit the third grade in high school, and got science class. Actually i've made up my mind of choosing Communication to be my next study. I took BTA course that held at SMUN 8. I took IPC program, which studying both science and social subjects.

I've been busy and confused at the same time. I didn't want my capability of science to disappear easily. And at the verge of filling SPMB form, i was totally fucking confused. Then I called my BTA teacher (he's only 3 years older than me), Sakti. I asked him what major i should take, and if i had to choose science major, what would it be? I had Mathematics major in my head but i tagged that on my third choice. I wanted to enter engineering major then Sakti suggested me to choose Civil Engineering. Ok since my SPMB try out score was around 50-59s, my final  result of choosing the majors were:

• Civil Engineering UI
• Communication UI
• Mathematics UI

And finally i got Civil Engineering major on 2004. Yea, not bad as long as it's UI. I admitted myself don't wanna go to college unless it's UI :p (a lil bit force to self). Ok i started studying Civil Engineering then. I was really stressed out at 1st semester. I will never really can do the drawing things, yes it was engineering drawing study. I was stressed till i got cried but the next semester was better cause i've increased my GPA at 2nd semester. But don't know why, i still wanted to try my 2nd chance to take SPMB test again on 2005. I didn't take any course at all, i just studied my last year's social modules and took only communication major on my SPMB form. This was a trial and error test. FINALLYYYYY I can't believe that i was accepted in communication major at UI OMG that was my dream to study in Communication. Then i told my parents this news. And for your information, they didn't even know what happened to me, the test, etc. My dad allowed me to take the chance, but mom seemed very disappointed. She really wanted me to continue my Civil Engineering study. I was really beyond stressed and confused. Some of my college friends suggested me to stay continuing my previous study. The one who was really into my problem is E'o. He asked me to stay at Civil Engineering. But actually, yeah, he was right. I've been comfort with my college friends. And E'o was right, i would never had friends like them. It's way different if i had friends at Communication major community. It's just.... different.. And i never thought that the whole people of my Civil Engineering community knew about my receipt in the faculty next door LOL.

Ok, I finally let go my dream of studying Communication. And in the end, i never regret my decision because i graduated on time and been experienced such good times with my 'never been replaced' friends. Haha, you will never know how HARD it feels to study in CIVIL ENGINEERING due to its afflictions without suriving it with 'very comfortable' friends. Now that after 2 years graduated, still i miss my college friends. Yet we still meet each other sometimes, doin crazy things and other quality times. The bottom-line is, i let go something that was being my big dream but i got such beautiful payback. Yes, my college friends, they are so much meaningful to me :)

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL CONCERT

Sebenernya acara ini adalah Pond's Teens Concert yang tentunya diselenggarain sama Pond's setiap taun di beberapa kota di Indonesia. Yang menarik dari Pond's Teens Concert taun ini adalah, Guest Star yang di Jakarta, which is Dashboard Confessional! Yaa secara tiket konsernya cuma nukerin Pond's seharga 15rb, ya untung bangetlaaahh.. Acara ini diselenggarain tgl 29 mei 2010. Gw nonton bareng sama Tya tapi disana juga ketemu banyak orang sih kaya Bintang, Rasyid, dll. Menurut rundown, DC seharusnya main jam 20.15 tapi entah kenapa jadi ngaret jam 21.35. Gw dateng pas Nidji udah setengah main. Diantara jeda Nidji dan DC, lamaaa banget breaknya. Udah pada bete massa yang dateng. Dan akhirnya setelah nunggu 20 menitan DC muncul dan langsung bawain Don't Wait. Gila ya suaranya Chris Carrabba dari rendah ke tinggi gitu dahsyat banget.. Mereka bawain lagu-lagu lawasnya kaya Hands Down, As Lovers Go, Screaming Infidelities, dan Swiss Army Romance dll. Encore di show yang inipun dahsyat! Ampe 2x gitu.. Gak lupa Belle Of  The Boulevard sama Vindicated juga dibawain (crowd paling rame di lagu ini). Yang paling ga penting dari acara ini adalah: the spreading water things dari panitianya ih sumpah ga penting banget tu air disiram-siram bukannya bikin penonton seger tapi malah tambah LEPEK. The committees should learn from this lesson. Secara yang nonton DC gak mungkin juga kan rusuh-rusuh gituu.. Konser ini lebih lama dari konser-konser yang pernah gw datengin sebelumnya, mungkin karena ngaret juga. Tapi kaki gw langsung pegeeel parah abis ituu.. I scale this concert 7 out of 10.

FOR FATE'S SAKE, I HATE FISH!!!

When i was about 8 or 9, i did watch Indonesian horror movie called Babi Ngepet. Maybe some of you have already watched it too. It happened when i went home after school. I was like, i still had much time to spare, I'm still kid so i better watch this movie instead of doing homework. Okay so the movie began. At first i feel like nothing's gonna happen until i saw the scene where the swine took the goldfish from a basin and the swine ate it RARELY and did it voraciously instead! Ewwwwwh, i was disgusted and from that time till now on i didn't EVER wanna eat any fish no more!! Unless it is fishcakes or such i still don't mind :-/ oh well, you know what? Before i watched this movie, I'll always have my intend to eat fishes but now, please don't let yourself offering me fishes. Awkward, but that's my reality LOL.

MY CRUSHES ON MUSIC

Music? who doesn't love music by the way? Most of people can't live without music i guess. But it's all coming back to their tastes, and how often they listen to it. Now's my turn to write about my music, haha.. Okay, let's begin from my child life. Probably i've been listening to music since i was a baby. I only remember first time my mom introduced me to New Kids On The Block when i was 3 or 4. That was when i lived in Australia i guess. When i came back to Jakarta, i started listening to Trio Kwek Kwek and such type of music lol. When i grew up, i started listening to other music thru MTV and radios haha. Ok better just begin with my crushes on music instead of hearing, i mean reading this never ending trashy talk :p

BRITNEY SPEARS

Who doesn't know Britney Spears? Hmmm this is my first crush on music. I like her since first time i saw her on tv! hahahaaa.. I was in love when i saw her on Baby One More Time video. I been collecting lotta things from her. Start from CDs, VCDs, DVDs, cassettes, till CURIOUS perfume which is her EDP product lol. I used to danced her moves too, and i always did that every time i saw her video. I also watched her movie, Crossroads too, haha i know it was embarrassing but i really likey like her a lot!  She used to be boney at first single. Then when i saw Sometimes video, she turned into a big boob girl, but prettier :p then the rumor came up that she did the plastic surgery. Hmm but the hottest gossip of all was her relationship with Justin Timberlake. Aaah, that's a pity. I really wanted her to be back with Justin actually. Her second album, Oops I Did It Again, was entering billboard chart too. But My fav album of all is her third album, Britney. There's a single written by Justin Timberlake on this album, What It's Like To Be Me. That's a very cool single with Justin's mouth voice. Her fourth album, In The Zone, is a bit different from her previous album. This sounds more to R n B. Her debut is Me Against The Music featuring Madonna. Hmmm, i guess both singer are talented, gift from God. Then Britney married Kevin Federline and now she had two kids with no husbands :-/. She once cut her hair off bold! She's been stressed by the time she got divorced with Kevin. But somehow, i still like her thou for whatever reason :p. After stressed out, she released Blackout album. Don't know why, i never ever like his album. When she came back and done recovery things, she released her next album named Circus. Beside those albums, i also collected her B-sides tracks and i guess now i already completed her tracks collection lol. Her video, Womanizer was declared as the sexiest video in 2008. Now she hits the top chart again, with her debut 3. Awww, i really really like her!! :x :x

SUEDE

I like Suede since i was in elementary school. First time i heard their song is when i bought Now compilation cassette where a single by Suede included. I was really into Beautiful Ones single. Then i saw them on MTV with other videos such as Lazy, Everything Will Flow, and She's In Fashion. I also often listened to radios to get latest info about Suede and also their hits. Aaahh, never knew i would love Suede this much. It has unique Brett's British accent and Bernard's trashy guitar sound. Bernard butler yet still on Suede until he resigned and Neil Codling replaced him on Coming Up album. My first love with Suede is when i heard this album. Actually all the guitar tabs has done by Butler, so Codling just have to play those guitar parts. Ever since i liked Suede, i also collect their previous albums, Suede and Dog Man Star. Yeah both albums are crunchier than Coming Up but i like Coming Up the most. My most fav Suede album is Coming Up. I couldn't describe how much i like all the songs here. YES. All the songs, no exception :p. Next album we got Head Music. This was the era when Suede was booming, i guess. I love the hits such as Electricity and She's in Fashion. And then the next album, A New Morning, made a debut single called Positivity. I guess Suede has imprinted as the best britpop band ever tattooed in my brain lol. The bad news was, A New Morning is their last album before they were disband. By the year 2003, they hit Indonesia to hold a concert. Oh my, i couldn't believe that i can't attend the concert. I was 17 at that time and didn't have extra money for buying ticket concert. Yeah that was a pity but, whatsoever, i couldn't regret anymore. During the break up, i started collecting their B-sides too, especially looking for Sci Fi Lullabies album. Ever since they broke up, Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler made a band called The Tears. Their music has the same beat, but more cheerful and positive. They only released one album. And then both Brett and Bernard made their own album with their own style. And now by the year 2010, they admit themselves reunion. They've been so busy now for doing reunion and i'm still waiting for them to comeback in Indonesia to do the show.

MUSE

First time i heard Muse song and instantly fell in love with them is in 2002, when In Your World single came out. It hit the chart of Prambors radio at number 1 for three times. Then i continued looking for their other tracks. I don't know why everytime i listen to muse songs i always get into the hype, the beat, and feeling  inside Matthew Bellamy's thoughts. It was really hard to find their B-side tracks at that time (not like this time).  And at the verge of obsessed with him, i started making Muse-Indonesia Fans Club (2006). I did everything to show that i'm so into Muse. i made T-shirts, helped my ex boyfriend establish a Muse Indonesia web page, and also collecting their CDs, DVDs, and videos. Now i've already had more than 20 gigabytes of their videos (i stopped collecting at 2007, i focused on mini thesis and graduation). But don't ever doubt my collection of Muse. I have the all CD albums includes Showbiz, Origin Of Symmetry, Hullabaloo Soundtrack, Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations (Special edition), HAARP (Special Edition), The Resistance (DVD Bonus). And DVDs i have are Hullabaloo and Absolution Tour. My very best moment is saw them live in front of my eyes, even only for meters at press conference i attended, and it ended up with my talks with Matthew Bellamy. This is for details. And my most fantastic achievement of being a muser is made A TRIBUTE TO MUSE. Oh God, i was so young at that time. With limited committees, i did my best to make this event runs well. I also sold my cellular phone to make this tribute comes true. Yea, i have no connection with any sponsors, most of them just gave me products but i can't even sell it all. Me and my committees sold foods and snacks to cover all production cost. And it finally held on august 26, 2007 with theme: Hyper Musical: Gathering and A Tribute to Muse. I couldn't even believe my show ran well. It presented  five best Muse cover bands that we have selected before. The audience were very good and enjoyed the show, how  happy i was. I really thanked my committees for helped me. I've tried my best to make this show goes success. I'm still longing for Muse to comeback here in Indonesia as they promised before when last time they had a concert here. This is my very crush on music among others. X)


CATATONIA

Wow, this is a band who has a gorgeous and uncanny vocalist, Cherys Matthews. Yes, another britpop band. First time i heard them on Prambors in 2002, i was impressed by Dead From The Waist Down track. Then i continued looking for their other tracks until now. First album i had is Paper, Scissor, Stone. Then i got International Velvet, Way Beyond Blue, and Equally Cursed and Blessed. They also released Greatest Hits and Platinum Hits in 2006. Catatonia has 2 collaboration tracks, Baby It's Cold Outside (with Tom Jones) and The Ballad of Tom Jones (with Space). But i favorited The Ballad of Tom Jones most. That was a psycho, funny, weird, eeerrgh i can't tell more, hear it yourself. Overall, their color of music is rather cheerful, cynical, and masochist. Once i listen to their songs, i will never let this music stop easily till my ear get weary :p. Now they have disband and i once asked to Cherys Matthews about reunion, she answered that it couldn't happen. Now she has realeased her solo album, and it was a simple welsh pop music, but Catatonia fans can still enjoy it :).


SYSTEM OF A DOWN

I knew System of A Down since i hit high school level but the my college friend Reggie injected me much much music from SOAD. He gave me the whole tracks of SOAD up to the B-side tracks too. Eerrrrr, i didn't know why i suddenly liking them so much since they released their Mezmerize and Hypnotize albums. Those albums are such a spirited, dynamic, and full of guts. And yes, i love Serj Tankian's voice. Actually SOAD came from Tunisia but growing up in America, the land where they were inspired of making music. They previous albums like System of A Down, Steal This Album, and Toxicity are just awesome too, but Mezmerize is my fav one. I love the whole tracks of this album from Oldschool Hollywood, Question, Radio Video (i usually sing this song with Reggie), Revenga, Sad Statue, This Cocaine Makes  Me Feel Like I'm on This Song, and moree..... Now they admitted vacum, but promised us to come back oneday. I'll wait for them patiently for sure :)

IT'S A LONG LEAVING DAYS

Mmm.. Gak kerasa udah setaun gw kerja di kantor yang skarang, dan jatah cuti gw ternyata masih banyak banget. Dari 12 hari, masih sisa 7 hari. Dan ternyata tanggal 21 mei cuti gw udah angus.. Haaaahhh, yasudah gw cepet-cepet aja ngajuin cuti buat tujuh hari dari tanggal 6-17 mei. Ya, borongan. Dan ternyata tanggal 13 mei itu tanggal merah, hahhaha makin manteplah cuti gw ini. Tapi ternyata oh ternyataaaa.. Bokap nyokap gwpun ga ada di rumah selama gw cuti. Mereka tugas keluar kota buat ngawasin Sensus Penduduk 2010. Yah yasudalah jadi babu deh gw 2 minggu. Hemmmm, dan gw udah bikin schedule untuk cuti gw ini di organizer gw. Berikut jadwalnya:

Aaaaahhh, menyenangkannya cuti panjaang... Bersiap-siaplah gw hari selasa kerja lagi.. Ya, dan gwpun prepare untuk cabut dari kantor gw yang ini staun lagi. Mau cari kerja PNS ato beasiswa di  Based English language country. Gw dah ga tahan kerja disini, dimana perverts are everywhere and hellooooow, nyadar juga yaaa yang perverts itu bapak-bapak dan satpam yang tua ga tau diri.. Yea i know tempat lain bukan ga mungkin ga ada perverts tapi gw udah super jijik ma bapak-bapak dan satpam yang gatau diri ini. Gw setiap harinya ngerasa was-was kalo harus lembur malem-malem gara-gara empet ma orang-orang ini. Dan gwpun emang pengen jadi pegawai negeri kaya orang tua gw, ato gausa kerja sekalian tapi bisnis dari rumah. Hmmmm, ya moga-moga cuti gw ini bisa refresh my mind. amiin :)
